WHEN - World Historical Ecology Network - arranges seminars and workshops on historical ecology. The networks is supported by Riksbankens Jubiuleumsfond.

The network's aim is to fuction as a tool for communication between researchers in different geographical regions and subjects who are involved in historical ecology.

Historical ecology unites methods, theories and perspectives from different sciences with the aim to understand complex historical connections between humans and the environment in different geographical levels and times.

The seminars are coordinated by Christian Isendahl

 

Workshop June 18-20, 2012

 

WHEN arranges a workshop in agent-based modelling in historical ecology with Dr Scott Heckbert, June 18-20, 2012.

The workshop is open to master students, PhD candidates and researchers who wish to incorporate agent-based modelling in their studies and research.
