Urban Origins in Eastern and Southern Africa

The Urban Origins in Eastern Africa project involved extensive training of technical and academic staff in order to enhance competence in African archaeology within the different institutions participating in the project.

Several dissertations and reports have been published in the series Studies in African Archaeology which is distributed by the Department of Archaeology and Ancient History, Uppsala University.

The results from the Urban Origins projects are recycled and disseminated via the Urban Origins Follow-up project.
