Ingbo Springs
Ingby Springs are located in Heby municipality, northwest of Uppsala. The springs produce 4.3 million litres of crystal clear water every day.
The area is known from the 12th century, when a water mill used the springs. Today, a reconstruction of the mill functioning in the 18th century can be visited.
The springs may be visited year roound, the view is magic! A tip is to visit in april, when the golden saxifrage (Chrysosplenium alternifolium) blossoms.
The water is very tasty - don´t forget to try it!
