Trade and intercultural relations
Long-distance trade – interregional trade - trade across various regions/nations mirrored in archaeological non-local findings and/or evinced in ancient documents.
Intercultural relations – relationships reflected in documents and/or the transmission of ideas and information between various cultural entities through primarily trade and exchange of goods but also through warfare; diplomatic contacts; mobility of specialists (e.g. craftsmen, artisans, architects), etc.
Interregional Interaction Networks - systems of trade operated by trade groups/diasporas, established along major trade routes.
