Egyptology A 30 hp
Egyptology is a dynamic subject that combines
modern archaeological methods with solid language studies. Uppsala University is the only university in Sweden that offers the subject in its full complexity.
Egyptology A may be studied separately, but is also part of the BA programme Year 2.
It consists of four courses, which may also be studied separately:
Egyptian history
Egyptian art and architecture
Ancient Egyptian religion
Ancient Egyptian texts and hieroglyphs
