I graduated with a BA in History from the UniversitatRoser Marsal in front of a screen Rovira i Virgili (URV), MA in Language and Civilization of Ancient Egypt from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB), and a PhD in Archaeology from the Universitat de Barcelona (UB).

Between 2015-2019, I was an assistant lecturer in the Department of History and Archaeology of the UB and, during the first semester of the academic year 2021-2022, in the Department of Antiquity and Middle Ages Studies of the UAB. I am a researcher of the Water Research Institute (IdRA) of the UB and I actively collaborate with the Catalan Institute of Human Paleoecology and Social Evolution (IPHES), in different research projects (Eco-Social behaviour of the Sierra de Atapuerca Hominins during Quaternary  and Palaeoenvironmental evolution and prehistoric population in the Francolí, Gaià, Siurana and river basins of Camp de Tarragona). I am also a member of the team of the Spanish-Egyptian Mission in South West Saqqara. Team 2021 Roser Marsal – Kom el-Khamaseen Project (uab.cat)

I am currently a postdoctoral researcher with the Margarita Salas fellowship at the UB. This contract involves two one-year research stays. The first one is at Uppsala University, and the second one is at UAB. During my postdoctoral phase, I want to apply my doctoral training in water resources management in the Ancient Near East (specifically in the south of Transjordan) in the field of Egyptology. In addition, I want to acquire new research skills in order to develop my research in my main area of interest, the culture of water in antiquity, especially the holistic view of water management over time.
